our goal is simple: great pizza, good people, and an atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable stopping by after the beach, a surf session, or a day exploring the algarve.
we keep things simple and focus on quality ingredients, fresh pizzas, and a fun, unpretentious vibe that reflects the spirit of lagos itself.
Our Story
pizza garage started with a simple idea: take an ordinary garage space and turn it into something special —a small neighborhood pizzeria where people could gather, eat well, and enjoy the relaxed lifestyle that makes lagos so unique.
the space itself used to be a garage connected to the restaurant nah nah bah, and when the opportunity came to transform it, the vision was clear: create a simple, unpretentious pizza spot that locals could relate to and visitors could discover. instead of turning it into something formal, the idea was to embrace the character of the space —keeping the garage feel, adding street-style artwork, and building a place that feels creative, relaxed, and full of personality.
family has always been part of the story. the kitchen is led by tiago, a skilled pizzaiolo and cousin of the founder, who joined the project with the plan of eventually bringing pizza garage to life. together, the goal was to keep things simple: great pizza, a small focused menu, and a place where the atmosphere is just as important as the food.
today, pizza garage has become a cozy neighborhood pizzeria where locals, travelers, surfers, and friends gather for fresh pizza and good vibes. whether you're grabbing a quick bite, sharing a few pizzas with friends, or stopping by after a long day at the beach, pizza garage is all about great food, relaxed energy, and bringing people together.
